Texmo Precision Castings

Texmo Precision Castings are a steel castings company with a head office in Sheffield and plants in India and the USA. From humble beginnings (in a shed!) in 1992, Texmo have grown to form part of a $125 Million manufacturing company, exporting products all over the globe.

We were tasked with refreshing every touchpoint of their brand, creating a more consistent identity and positioning them as the market leaders. We started by refining their business down to 3 core adjectives; Quality, Precision, Innovation. These words then acted as a brief for all the elements we created.

— Graphic Assets

Part of our brief was to give Texmo its own brand assets, so they didn’t need to rely on stock icons or photography. Having this bank of imagery allows them to quickly create original graphics, in the consistent style they craved.

The outcome was a range of over 50 bespoke icons and illustrations, all derived from the aesthetic of their logo.

— Photography

The photography style was inspired by their level of production. We chose to shoot them using a macro lens, highlighting the raw precision of their castings.

Using a singular spotlight and black backdrop made the shoot feel almost artistic, again adding to the sense of quality within this company.

Following the successful rebrand, Texmo asked us to review all of their digital communication, from website, to presentation materials, to the user interface of their multi-million pound bespoke machinery. (No pressure there then!)

All the above elements come together on their website – a clean, well-branded online space with subtle animated SVGs and impactful case studies.

The client also required a video to be used in presentations outlining their service and process. After gaining a lot of insight from the management team we created a storyboard, art directed and edited a video that spanned over 3 continents.

Unfortunately we can’t show you the full video, as their process is top secret, like the KFC recipe. However we have a quick edit you can see below.
